      iPad interest dropping after announcement

Whatever excitement was generated when Apple announced its iPad is beginning to wear off according to surveys by the consumer electronics shopping site Retrevo. As part of the surveys the shopping site asked, “Have you heard about the new Apple tablet that might be revealed in January?”
The two surveys included one taken before and one [...]

New How to Get Free Battlefield Bad Company 2 PC Beta Keys

new-how-to-get-free-battlefield-bad-company-2-pc-beta-keys

I had mentioned a method of how to get free Battlefield Bad Company Two ( 2 / II ) beta game keys in my previous post called: Free Battlefield Bad Company 2 PC Beta Keys. That method no longer works though, as the event ended. Do not fret! There is a new method of obtaining beta keys for Battfield Bad Company 2 for the PC now.

You simply go to Fileplay Keys and register for a regular member account. You will then obtain your key. Please note that if you miss out on getting a key, the website does in fact post more keys every couple of hours or so. Get them before they’re all gone! Again, this is not through Geek Montage, but via the website FilePlay so do no request keys here as done in the previous thread. Thanks and enjoy your keys!

Woz reveals how color came to be on computers

You know that Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple and an electrical engineer, has designed all sorts of gadgets, among them the first personal computer called the Apple I 33 years ago. But did you know that the Woz had also put color graphics into personal computers? Of course, our younger readers who weren’t even born [...]

Note: Click the picture to make it bigger.

Apple demands a developer removes Android references from iPhone app

See that image to the right? That’s the App Store description of an iPhone app called Flash of Genius. Nothing out of place about it, right? Well, guess what, Apple is threatening to remove this program from the store – not because of the app itself, but due to a brief mention of Google’s Android!
      Flash [...]

You can now bypass desktop iTunes and preview iPhone apps on the web

Clicking the App Store links embedded on sites now loads a handy web page, rather than launching Apple’s resource-hog jukebox application. Apple has quietly enhanced browser previews for iTunes Store media with the ability to access the iPhone and iPod touch application descriptions in your browser, instead via desktop iTunes or the App Store application [...]

Hacking WEP Wireless Keys Via Backtrack Video

hacking-wep-wireless-keys-via-backtrack-video

Hacking WEP is as easy as eating a piece of banana cream pie with chopsticks (it’s easier than it sounds). There are multiple methods of doing such, especially depending on who makes your wireless card (Atheros chipsets allow for additional, faster methods, as well as some other chipsets). The most common way, which is done via a Backtrack live disk or USB in conjunction with Aircrack, can be seen step-by-step in the following video. Watch the video!
