There’s always the up and downs of working at home. What I enjoy most is staying up till about 4am eating pizza drinking beer, but what kind of sucks is that there are many distractions… Well, this comic explains it all!

PS: Speaking of distractions, my assignment had me read 2 of The Oatmeal’s comics for guidelines on semi-colons and apostrophes. Then I got distracted with this….
Yes, the middle earth is now a crowd of the world cup. Definately well done

This here is Enki‘s gun that he wanted me to review for him. Fine piece of work right here.
SUMMARY: This detailed gun matches the C11 with 480 feet per second firepower. Although they both share the same firing mechanisms, they do share some flaws, mainly with the clip. Sometimes when I was feeding a clip in, the magazine spewed BB’s everywhere. It’s pretty accurate, competing with the C11, and the 357W. I found the gun very enjoyable, however the top was heavy in comparison to the handle so the front drooped down a lot. The safety is an easy push-and-slide mechanism with the index finger. To change the Co2, slide back the handle, exposing the co2 chamber and the screw to tighten/loosen.
SPECS:
Velocity: 480 ft/sec
Magazine size: 18
Ordinance: .177 Caliber BBs only
Power: 12 gram Co2
Customizable: Yes
Attachments: Laser
ACCURACY: (Tested by Foose on a 4″ target with 10 shots)
5 Meters – 60%
10 meters – 20%
Best Power: First 25 shots from a fresh Co2
Best Accuracy: 26 – 50 shots into a fresh Co2
Average: 50 – 85 shots into a fresh Co2
Weak Sauce: 86+ into a fresh Co2
REVIEW/RATING:
This gun is pretty fun. As I said earlier, it has the same firing mechanisms as the C11, so it sports both power and accuracy. However due to the heavier build on top, the accuracy slightly suffers, since there’s little recoil to counter the downward droop. Also, there were times on occasion when the clip ejected the rounds when I tried loading. Nevertheless, this gun earns a 8.9 / 10.
So, I made a few reviews, but for a quick and dirty rundown of them, here is a quick compilation (with links) of the data:
POWER: (Feet per second)
1 – Baretta 92FS and Crosman C11 @ 480
2 – Crosman 357W @ 435 – 455
3 – Walther P99 @ 345
Summary: Just watch where you point these things, the Baretta and C11 can put a nice hole in your belly.
ACCURACY: (5 and 10 meters at a 4″ target, 10 shots)
1 – Crosman C11 (80% @ 5m, 40% @ 10m)
2 – Crosman 357W (70% @ 5m, 40% @ 10m)
3 – Baretta 92FS (60% @ 5m, 20% @ 10m)
4 – Walther P99 (50% @ 5m, 20% @ 10m)
Summary: If Naota and I can shoot the space in the middle of a CD, then there’s no doubt of the C11′s accuracy
REALISM: (Functions, mechanism, detail)
1 – Walther P99
2 – Crosman 357W
3 – Baretta 92FS
4 – Crosman C11
Summary: Yeah, the Walther lacks a lot, but you can’t deny the blow back and the realistic mechanisms of the gun are badass.
RATE OF FIRE: (How fast a 10 shot clip is emptied)
1 – Walther P99 @ 2.319 sec
2 – Crosman C11 @ 3.376 sec
3 – Baretta 92FS @ 3.569 sec
4- Crosman 357W @ 3.876 sec
Summary: The P99 has the smoothest trigger pull out of all of them, dominating the rate of fire. Both the Baretta and the C11 seem to share the same trigger/loading mechanisms because I found that you needed some effort to pull the trigger. The 357W of course needed the most because it was cocking the hammer and firing at the same time.

This was another gun I used to own, in fact, I owned a pair of them!! They were the most powerful BB guns I owned, and they are responsible for destroying Naota’s Ps3!!
SUMMARY: This simple gun packs power at 480 ft/sec shooting .177 caliber BB’s, putting some serious damage into it’s target (including my skin). The clip holds 18 BB’s and is easily ejected with the release on the left side using the thumb (I deduce this gun is made for right handed people). The accuracy is quite amazing. Naota and I used to shoot the hole in the middle of CD’s from 2 – 7 meters away. The trigger is a smooth action, probably contributing to the accuracy. The downside is, its a bit soft, so the trigger can be accidently pulled (Shot my window twice as a result of this). There is a weaver rail under the barrel, supposedly for a laser, but the sights are golden for me. The safety is an easy push-and-slide mechanism with the index finger. To change the Co2, slide back the handle, exposing the co2 chamber and the screw to tighten/loosen.

Another amazing purchase by Foose, the 357 hunting pistol!!
SUMMARY:
I love this gun! Not many revolver Co2′s out there, and this one is AWESOME! It sports the double and single action, either pull the trigger or cock the hammer back, then pull the trigger to fire. To reload, press the release button and bend the barrel forward. The cylinder has 10 shot capacity, with the sexy bonus of holding any BB or pellet as long as its .177 caliber.

Well fans, get ready for a new category: Weapons!
I’d love to talk to you all about my recent purchase of the Walther P99 from Amazon.com
SUMMARY: I recently purchased this near-perfect replica of a Walther P99 powered by Co2 and shoots .177 caliber BB’s. It functions as a real gun, meaning you must pull the slide back to cock the internal hammer. The ordinance doesn’t chamber, it stays in the clip actually which is good because it poses less of a threat when determining if the gun is ‘safe.’ Once you fire, the slide blows back, then slides forward to re-cock the internal hammer. The slide catches back when the magazine is spent. To release the slide, pull the slide back and release or press the slide release lever. The ejection is on the trigger guard. The safety is very well built. To put it in ‘fire’ mode, you must pull back and up, but to put it on ‘safe’ you simply push it down.
